About CCMCT

Our Aim As A Riding School

As a DVSA accredited school in Cheltenham, our aim is to give you the best training we can to set you on your riding journey. Our instructors give you the very best training to keep you riding safely, whether you're just starting, completing your full motorcycle licence or if you have experience, we can fine tune your riding skills, we have a course for you.


We try to match students of similar ability into the courses we run where possible. This enables you to get the most out of our courses.

Have you ever considered riding a motorbike and thought "is motorbiking for me? Why not book a Try-Ride lesson where you can have a go on one of our bikes to get a taste of what it's like to ride a without committing to doing a CBT.

Try Ride

Compulsory Basic Training is a course that is set out by the DVSA comprising of 5 elements. After successfully completing this day course, you can enjoy the open roads with L plates. Depending on your age, this determines the engine size you can ride. The max is a 125cc motorcycle.

Once you have gained experience riding around on your L plates (valid for 2 years), you can start advanced motorcycle classes to work towards your full licence.

Try Ride

DAS

The Direct Access Scheme is a five part course that is set over five days (including your Module 1 and Module 2 tests). This course is for you to obtain your full motorcycle licence. This includes A1, A2 and full A licence. Our courses are run with you in mind, giving you as much control and safety on the bike to keep practicing for years to come after your test with a DVSA Examiner.

Rusty Riders / Back To Biking

DAS

Enhanced Riders Schemes are advanced motorcycle classes for riders who have taken time off from riding after gaining their full licence, or have been riding for a while but want to improve their safety and skills.

If this sounds like you, come in for an assessment and we can set a course out for you to make your riding experience better!

At the end of the course you will gain a ERS Certificate from the DVSA.

As a school, we don't just focus on passing courses and tests to gain a certificate or licence! As passionate and professional bikers, we know we and everyone else can always improve!

Whether going from an automatic moped to a geared bike, or being an established biker, we could help you to improve your skills such as your handling and judgment. If you feel there's something not quite right, your not completely comfortable or confident or feel your riding could be better, then don't hesitate to get in contact.
